From Trenton's downtown area, walk to the Trenton Train Station. Once there, catch the NJ Transit Bus 601, which heads towards Philadelphia. Make sure to inform the driver you want to get off at the nearest stop to the Penn Museum, which is located at 3260 South St in Philadelphia. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk towards South Street, and the museum will be on your left.
Train
Start at the Trenton Train Station and take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line towards Philadelphia. Get off at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. From the station, exit and head southwest toward Arch Street. You can catch the Market-Frankford Line subway at 15th Street Station towards 69th Street. Get off at the 69th Street Station and transfer to the Trolley Line. Take the trolley towards Media and get off at the stop for South Street. Walk for about 10 minutes towards 3260 South Street, and you will find the Penn Museum on your right.
Bicycle
If you're up for a ride, you can rent a bicycle in Trenton. Start from the downtown area and head towards the Delaware River, taking a scenic route along the riverfront. Follow the bike path that leads into Pennsylvania, which eventually connects to the West River Drive in Philadelphia. Continue on this route until you reach South Street.
