Turn right onto Mountain Avenue and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Historic Trail, and you will find the entrance to Watchung Reservation on your right. There is no entrance fee, but parking may be limited during peak hours.

    For those using public transportation, take NJ Transit Train Raritan Valley Line to the Fanwood Station. From there, transfer to the 114 bus towards the Watchung Mountains. Get off at the Mountain Avenue & Watchung Reservation stop. Walk approximately 0.5 miles along Mountain Avenue and turn left onto Historic Trail. The entrance to Watchung Reservation will be on your right. Be sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for bus and train times, as they may vary.
