Getting There

Bus
Start at the Albuquerque Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC), which is centrally located. From there, take the ABQ RIDE bus route 66 towards 'Montgomery & San Mateo'. Ride until you reach the 'San Mateo & Montgomery' stop. At this stop, transfer to bus route 5 towards 'Coors & I-40'. Ride this bus until you reach 'Coors & Montano'. From there, it’s a short walk to Balloon Park. Head north on Coors Blvd, then turn right onto Montano Rd, and continue walking until you reach the park.

Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start at the Albuquerque Alvarado Transportation Center and head north on 1st St NW. Follow the path along the Rio Grande River, taking the bike path north. After approximately 4 miles, you’ll reach the intersection of Montano Rd. Turn left onto Montano Rd and continue west. After a short distance, you will find Balloon Park on your right.
