If you are starting from the Albuquerque city center, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the ABQ RIDE bus number 5, which travels along Central Ave. Ride the bus until you reach the 'University of New Mexico' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 66. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Pershing & Yale' stop. Once you get off, walk south on Yale Blvd for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Pershing Ave. Turn left onto Pershing Ave, and you will soon arrive at Hyder Park on your right.

If you prefer to bike, start from the Albuquerque city center and head towards Central Ave. Follow Central Ave east until you reach University Blvd. Turn left onto University Blvd and head south. Continue straight as it transitions into Yale Blvd. Bike down Yale Blvd for about 1 mile. When you reach Pershing Ave, turn right, and Hyder Park will be on your left.
