From downtown Albuquerque, locate the nearest bus stop for ABQ RIDE, specifically for Route 155. Board the bus heading towards 'Westside'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Coors Blvd & Western Trail NW'. You will need to walk about 0.5 miles from the bus stop to reach the entrance of Petroglyph National Monument. From the bus stop, head west on Western Trail NW, following the signs to the park entrance.

Take Central Avenue NW heading west until you reach Coors Blvd. Turn left (south) onto Coors Blvd and continue until you reach Western Trail NW. Turn right onto Western Trail NW and bike approximately 1.5 miles to the entrance of Petroglyph National Monument. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and wear a helmet for safety.

If you are staying near the Old Town area, you can walk to Petroglyph National Monument. Start at the Old Town Plaza and head west on Central Avenue NW. Continue walking for about 2.5 miles until you reach Coors Blvd. Turn left on Coors Blvd and walk until you reach Western Trail NW. Finally, turn right on Western Trail NW and walk about 0.5 miles to the entrance of the park. This walk can take approximately 1 hour, so wear comfortable shoes.
