After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the Candelaria Rd NW stop. From there, walk west along Candelaria Rd NW for about 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 2901 Candelaria Rd NW.

Head north on 2nd Street NW, which becomes the bike-friendly trail along the Rio Grande River. Follow the trail north for approximately 3 miles, enjoying the scenic views. When you reach Candelaria Rd NW, turn east and continue for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park will be on your left.
