Bus
From Bernalillo, head to the nearest bus stop on NM-550 where you can catch the ABQ RIDE bus route 222. Board the bus towards Albuquerque. It will take approximately 30 minutes and drop you off at the Downtown Albuquerque Transit Center. From there, transfer to bus route 66, which will take you directly towards the Musical Highway. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 310 U.S. Rt. 66. The Musical Highway will be visible from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bernalillo. Start by heading south on NM-550 towards Albuquerque. Follow the designated bike lanes, and after about 7 miles, merge onto US Route 66.
