Bus
From Bernalillo, walk to the nearest bus stop along NM-528 (Main Street). Take the NM Rail Runner Express towards Albuquerque. Get off at the Albuquerque station. Once there, transfer to ABQ Ride Bus Route 66 (which operates every 30 minutes) and ride towards the Westside. Get off at the stop at Western Trail NW. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles northwest to reach the entrance of the Petroglyph National Monument.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Bernalillo. Start at the Bernalillo Town Plaza and head south on NM-528. After about 1 mile, turn right onto the Paseo del Norte NW bike path. Follow this path west for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Western Trail NW. Continue straight for another 0.5 miles to arrive at the Petroglyph National Monument entrance.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Bernalillo Town Plaza. Walk west on NM-550 for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach NM-528. Cross NM-528 and continue walking west for another 0.8 miles.
