Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Bernalillo, head south on Camino del Pueblo (the main street) towards the intersection with US-550. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto US-550 and continue walking for about half a mile. After you cross the bridge over the river, look for a bus stop on your right where you can catch the ABQ Ride bus #66 (Albuquerque to Rio Rancho). Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at Mountain Road NW. Get off the bus and walk west for a few blocks until you reach Tiguex Park, located at 1800 Mountain Rd NW.

  • Public Transit

    From Bernalillo, walk to the nearest ABQ Ride bus stop. You can take the 66 bus towards Albuquerque. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the stop for Mountain Rd NW. From there, head west on Mountain Rd NW. Tiguex Park will be on your left at 1800 Mountain Rd NW.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Bernalillo to Tiguex Park. Start by heading south on Camino del Pueblo until you reach the intersection with US-550. Turn left onto US-550 and continue cycling for about 2 miles. After crossing the river, take a right onto Mountain Rd NW and continue for about a mile. Tiguex Park will be on your right at 1800 Mountain Rd NW.
