Walking
Start at the Bernalillo Town Plaza, which is centrally located in Bernalillo. From the plaza, head east on NM-44 (also known as Bernalillo's Main Street). Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Kuaua Road. Turn left onto Kuaua Road. Walk for approximately 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to the Coronado Historic Site on your right at 485 Kuaua Rd. The site is well marked, and you will see signs indicating its location.

If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the Bernalillo Town Plaza. Head east on NM-44 (Main Street) for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Kuaua Road. Continue straight on Kuaua Road for about 1 mile.
