Once you arrive at the park entrance, follow the signs to the Bat Flight Amphitheater, which is approximately a 1-mile walk from the entrance. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Carlsbad. Start from the downtown area and head southwest on W Fox St, which will lead you to US-62. Follow US-62 until you reach the entrance of Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The ride is approximately 20 miles, and you can enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the park entrance, follow the signs for the Bat Flight Amphitheater, which is about a mile away from the entrance.
