From the Carlsbad Downtown Transit Center, take the Route 1 bus towards the beach. Get off at the Del Mar stop. Follow the signs leading to the beach area, and you will find yourself in the vicinity of Del Mar. It is about a 10-minute walk to the main attractions in Del Mar once you disembark.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Carlsbad Village. Head south on Carlsbad Blvd until you reach the intersection with Del Mar. Turn left and continue until you see signs for Del Mar. It’s a scenic ride along the coast, taking approximately 30 minutes.

If you prefer walking, start at the Carlsbad Village and head south on the coast path. Follow the path along the beach, which will lead you toward Del Mar. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
