From the center of Carlsbad, head east on W Fox St toward S Halagueno St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Canal St. Turn left onto S Canal St and walk for another 0.3 miles. At the intersection with E Church St, turn right and continue walking for approximately 0.4 miles. You will reach the Carlsbad Public Library on your left. From there, head south on S Canyon St for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with W Greene St. Turn left onto W Greene St and walk for 0.5 miles. Then, turn right onto S 8th St and continue going straight for about 0.3 miles. You will reach the intersection with E Pecan St, where you will turn left. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the park.

Start at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce located at 201 S Halagueno St. Head south on S Halagueno St for about 0.3 miles, then turn left onto W Fox St. Continue for another 0.5 miles and then turn right onto S Canal St. Cycle straight for about 0.5 miles, passing the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center on your left. Continue straight onto E Church St and cycle for 0.4 miles. At the fork, keep right to continue on S Canyon St for about 0.2 miles. Turn left onto W Greene St and cycle for 0.5 miles. Finally, turn right onto S 8th St and continue cycling straight for about 0.3 miles until you turn left onto E Pecan St. Continue straight for 1 mile until you arrive at Harveston Lake Park.
