Board the bus heading southbound towards San Diego. After approximately 1 hour, disembark at the 'Old Town Transit Center' stop. From there, transfer to the MTS Bus Line 35, which will take you directly to Ocean Beach. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Newport Ave & Abbott St' stop. You will find yourself right in the heart of Ocean Beach.

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area, consider renting a bicycle in Carlsbad. Begin your journey by cycling south on Carlsbad Blvd, which will take you towards the coast.
