Walking
If you're starting from the Carlsbad Public Library located at 101 S Halagueno St, head south on Halagueno St towards W Texas St. Turn left onto W Texas St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Canal St. Turn right onto S Canal St and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will then arrive at Lake Carlsbad, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation
Begin at the nearest bus stop to your location. If you're near the Carlsbad Mall, take the 'Route 1' bus towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of S Canal St and W Texas St. From there, walk south on S Canal St for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Lake Carlsbad on your left.
Biking
If you have a bike, you can rent one from a local shop near downtown Carlsbad. Head south on S Halagueno St until you reach W Texas St, then turn left and bike for approximately 0.5 miles. After that, turn right onto S Canal St and continue for 0.3 miles until you see Lake Carlsbad on your left.
