Start from the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center located at 418 W Fox St, Carlsbad, NM 88220. Head south on Fox St towards W Main St for about 0.2 miles. At the intersection, turn left onto W Main St and continue for approximately 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Canyon St. Turn right onto S Canyon St and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. As you approach the intersection with E Orchard St, continue straight onto S 1st St. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto E Ochoa St. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with S 5th St. Turn right and walk straight for another 0.3 miles. Finally, turn left onto Cascades Ave, and The Cascades will be on your right at 400-16 Cascades Ave.

From the Carlsbad Transit bus stop located near the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center, take the bus heading towards the Carlsbad Caverns. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Cascades Ave. Once you get off, walk north for about 0.3 miles on S 5th St. Turn left onto E Ochoa St and continue walking for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Cascades Ave. Turn right onto Cascades Ave, and The Cascades will be at 400-16 Cascades Ave.
