By Car
From the Sandia Peak Tramway parking area, head southeast on NM-556 E. Continue on NM-556 E for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with NM-14. Turn left onto NM-14 N and drive for approximately 3 miles. Look for the signs directing you to the La Luz Trailhead. Turn right onto Forest Service 333 Rd and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the La Luz Trailhead parking area. Note: Parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.
