Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Santa Fe downtown. Head southeast on Old Santa Fe Trail toward E De Vargas St. Continue onto Old Las Vegas Highway (NM-84). The Official scenic historic marker is located along Old Las Vegas Hwy. Look for the marker on your right as you drive toward NM-285. It is about a 15-minute drive (approximately 8 miles). There is no entry fee to visit the marker.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Santa Fe Trails bus (Route 2) towards the Santa Fe Plaza. From the Plaza, switch to the NM Rail Runner Express and head toward the South Capitol Station. After getting off at the South Capitol Station, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Official scenic historic marker on Old Las Vegas Hwy. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service from the station for convenience, as public transport does not directly serve the marker location.
