If you are driving, navigate to 56501 N Jornada Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88012. From central Las Cruces, head north on Main Street and continue onto N Valley Drive. Turn right onto Jornada Rd. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to check the park's hours before your visit, as it typically operates from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

For those using public transportation, take the RoadRUNNER Transit bus route 1 from the Las Cruces downtown area towards the Mesilla Valley. Get off at the stop nearest to N Valley Drive and Jornada Rd. From there, it is approximately a 20-minute walk (1 mile) to the entrance of the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park. Be sure to check the bus schedule for timings, and plan accordingly as the service may not operate frequently.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from local shops in Las Cruces. Start from the downtown area and follow the same route as for cars: head north on Main Street, then onto N Valley Drive, and finally turn onto Jornada Rd.
