Car
From Jemez Springs, head southeast on NM-4 E for about 8 miles. Look for the turnoff for East Fork Trail, which will be on your left. Parking is available at the trailhead, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
Public Transportation
Unfortunately, public transportation options directly to East Fork Trail are limited. The nearest bus service is the New Mexico Park and Ride, which you would take to Jemez Springs. From there, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the East Fork Trailhead, which is about 8 miles away. Make sure to arrange for the taxi or rideshare in advance as options may not be readily available.
Hiking
If you are already in the vicinity of Jemez Springs and prefer to hike, you can start from the town and take the Jemez River Trail which connects to East Fork Trail. However, this requires a good level of fitness as it's a longer trek. Ensure you bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey.
