If you are driving, start from Jemez Springs. Head northwest on NM-4 N for approximately 2 miles. You will pass the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway sign. After 2 miles, turn left onto Forest Rd 134. Continue on Forest Rd 134 for about 1 mile, and you will reach the Jemez Falls Overlook parking area. There is no fee for parking.

There is limited public transportation in the Jemez Mountains. If you are using public transit, take the New Mexico Park and Ride from Santa Fe to Jemez Springs. Once you arrive in Jemez Springs, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Jemez Falls Overlook, as public transport does not extend to the overlook. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for a taxi from Jemez Springs to the overlook.
