To get to Canyon Rd in Santa Fe from Los Alamos, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Central Avenue. Board the NM Rail Runner Express at the Los Alamos station heading south. The train runs approximately every hour. Disembark at the Santa Fe Depot. From the Depot, you can either walk or take the Santa Fe Trails Bus Route 2 towards the Plaza. If walking, head east on W. San Francisco St. until you reach Old Santa Fe Trail, then continue on the trail until it merges with Canyon Rd.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental shops in Los Alamos. Start your ride on NM-502 East, following it towards Santa Fe.
