Bus
From downtown Los Alamos, walk to the nearest bus stop at Central Avenue and 15th Street. Board the NM Park and Ride bus heading towards Santa Fe, which operates regularly. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at the Santa Fe Plaza stop. From there, walk towards Cathedral Place, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head east on San Francisco Street, then turn left onto Cathedral Place. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Los Alamos. Start from the center of Los Alamos and head south on NM-502. Follow the designated bike path for about 10 miles until you reach Santa Fe. Once in Santa Fe, continue onto St. Francis Drive, then take a right onto Cathedral Place. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi will be on your left.

For a walking adventure, start at the Los Alamos Visitor Center. Head south on Central Avenue until you reach the intersection with NM-502. Cross NM-502 and continue walking along the scenic trails leading to the outskirts of Santa Fe. Once you reach the city, navigate towards the historic Santa Fe Plaza. From the Plaza, walk east on San Francisco Street and turn left onto Cathedral Place to find the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
