    If you're starting from the historic Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, head east on Cathedral Place toward the Plaza. Continue straight for about 0.2 miles (a roughly 5-minute walk). You will pass by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum on your left. Keep walking until you reach Lincoln Avenue; Santa Fe Plaza will be directly in front of you.

    From the New Mexico Museum of Art, exit the museum and turn left onto West Palace Avenue. Walk for about 0.1 miles until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Avenue. Turn right onto Lincoln Avenue, and continue for a short distance; Santa Fe Plaza will be on your left. This walk will take approximately 3 minutes.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    If you're at the Santa Fe Depot, you can catch the Santa Fe Trails bus (Route 2) towards the Plaza. The bus stop is located just outside the depot. The ride takes about 10 minutes and costs $1.50. Get off at the Santa Fe Plaza stop, which is right in front of the Plaza.

    From the Plaza, you can explore the surrounding area. If you are near the Lensic Performing Arts Center, simply walk south on Galisteo Street toward the Plaza. It's about a 0.3-mile walk which will take around 7 minutes. You'll pass several shops and galleries along the way.

    If you're at the Santa Fe Farmers Market, head east on Camino de la Familia. After about 0.4 miles, turn left onto Cerrillos Road, then right onto West San Francisco Street, which will lead you directly to the Plaza. This route takes about 10 minutes.
