Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Los Alamos Visitor Center, exit the center and head south on Central Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Trinity Drive. Turn left onto Trinity Drive and continue for another 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to the Los Alamos Project Main Gate on your right. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the historical site.

Bus
From the Los Alamos Transit Center, board the 'Blue Route' bus heading towards the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. The bus will stop at the intersection of Trinity Drive and Diamond Drive. Disembark at this stop, then walk east along Diamond Drive for about 0.2 miles. The Los Alamos Project Main Gate will be located on your left.

Starting from the Los Alamos Nature Center, take the bike path that runs parallel to the main road. Head east on the bike path until it intersects with Central Avenue. Turn right onto Central Avenue and follow it for about 0.6 miles. At the intersection with Trinity Drive, turn left and continue for another 0.3 miles. The Los Alamos Project Main Gate will be on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all biking safety rules.
