Walking
From the center of Los Alamos, head northwest on Central Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Diamond Drive. Turn right onto Diamond Drive and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the Los Alamos Nature Center on your left. This is a good place to stop for information and maps. After visiting the Nature Center, continue walking on Diamond Drive until you reach the junction with the road leading into the Bandelier National Monument. Follow the signs to the monument and head into the trails. The trail to Natural Arch is well-marked. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike, as it is about a 2-mile round trip from the trailhead.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Los Alamos. Start from the town center and ride north on Central Avenue until you reach Diamond Drive. Turn right onto Diamond Drive, and then follow the road towards Bandelier National Monument. The bike ride is approximately 1.5 miles to the entrance of the monument. Once you reach the monument, park your bike at the designated area and follow the marked trails to Natural Arch. The hiking trail from the monument to Natural Arch is about a 2-mile round trip, so ensure you have enough time to return before dark.
