Walking
From the center of Los Alamos, head northwest on Central Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Diamond Drive. Turn right onto Diamond Drive and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the Los Alamos Nature Center on your left. This is a good place to stop for information and maps. After visiting the Nature Center, continue walking on Diamond Drive until you reach the junction with the road leading into the Bandelier National Monument. Follow the signs to the monument and head into the trails. The trail to Natural Arch is well-marked. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike, as it is about a 2-mile round trip from the trailhead.
