Getting There

Walking
If you're starting at the Los Alamos Visitor Center, exit the building and head south on Central Avenue. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Trinity Drive. Turn left onto Trinity Drive and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see a sign for Quemazon Trail on your right side at the end of the road. Follow the trailhead signs leading you to the Quemazon Trail.

Public Transit
From the Los Alamos Visitor Center, you can take the Atomic City Transit bus (Route 1) towards the Los Alamos County Library. Get off at the 'Pajarito Cliffs Site' stop. Walk south on Pajarito Road for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Quemazon Trail. The trailhead will be on your left side. Follow the signage to access the trail.

If you have a bike, start at the Los Alamos County Golf Course. Exit the parking lot and head west on Diamond Drive. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Pajarito Road. Turn left onto Pajarito Road and bike for approximately 0.5 miles. Look for the Quemazon Trail trailhead on your right, where you will find the entrance to the trail.
