• Car

  If you are traveling by car within North Central New Mexico, the easiest way to reach Flying J Ranch is to navigate to NM-48. From Ruidoso, head north on US-70 until you reach the exit for NM-48. Turn left onto NM-48 and continue for approximately 6 miles. Flying J Ranch will be on your right at 1028 NM-48, Alto, NM 88312. Look for the entrance sign to ensure you don’t miss it.

• Public Transportation + Taxi

  If you are using public transportation, take the local bus service from Ruidoso to the nearest bus stop to Alto, which is the Ruidoso Transit Service. Once you arrive in Alto, you will need to call a taxi or use a rideshare service to reach Flying J Ranch, as public transportation does not directly service this location. Expect taxi fares to range around $15-$25 depending on your pickup point.

• Car Rentals

  For visitors who prefer more flexibility, consider renting a car from Ruidoso. There are several rental agencies available. Drive north on US-70, then take the NM-48 exit.
