Getting There

Public Bus
From downtown Santa Fe, head to the nearest bus stop at the Santa Fe Depot. Board the NM Rail Runner train towards South and get off at the Santa Fe Plaza station. From there, transfer to the Santa Fe Trails bus service. Take Route 4 (Canyon Road) towards Hyde Memorial State Park. The bus will take you along the scenic route. Get off at the Hyde Park Road stop, which is a short walk from the park entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Santa Fe. Start your ride on Old Santa Fe Trail heading northeast. Follow the trail as it merges into Hyde Park Road. The ride is approximately 5 miles uphill, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of the traffic as you approach the park.
