Getting There

• Public Transit

  Begin at the Roswell Transit Center located at 200 E 2nd St, Roswell, NM 88201. Take the Route 1 bus towards the North side of the city. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Main St and 4th St. From there, transfer to Route 2, which heads towards the Bottomless Lakes area. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the exact times. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, you will reach a stop near the entrance of Bottomless Lakes State Park. Walk down Bottomless Lakes Rd towards the park entrance located at 545A Bottomless Lakes Rd, Roswell, NM 88201.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Roswell. Start your journey from the Roswell Museum and Art Center at 100 W 11th St, Roswell, NM 88201. Head east on 11th St, then take a right onto N Main St. Continue riding until you reach the intersection with E 2nd St and turn left. Follow E 2nd St until you reach Bottomless Lakes Rd. Take a right onto Bottomless Lakes Rd and cycle for about 7 miles. The park entrance will be on your left at 545A Bottomless Lakes Rd, Roswell, NM 88201.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and are up for a long walk, start from the Roswell Plaza Shopping Center at 2500 N Main St, Roswell, NM 88201. Walk south on N Main St for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 2nd St. Turn left onto E 2nd St and continue walking until you reach Bottomless Lakes Rd. Turn right onto Bottomless Lakes Rd and walk for about 2 miles. The park entrance will be on your left at 545A Bottomless Lakes Rd, Roswell, NM 88201. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
