Walking
If you are starting from the Ruidoso Convention Center, head east on Sudderth Drive toward Mechem Drive. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Mechem Drive. Turn right onto Mechem Drive and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs for Cedar Creek Trails. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Cedar Creek Road. Follow Cedar Creek Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will find the trailhead on your left.
Biking
From the Ruidoso Public Library, head south on Mechem Drive. Continue for about 1.2 miles. You will see a bike lane along this route. Once you reach the intersection with Cedar Creek Road, turn left. Continue down Cedar Creek Road for about 0.5 miles, and the Cedar Creek Trails entrance will be on your left. Make sure to lock your bike at the designated area near the trailhead.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, check the local bus schedule for the Ruidoso area. Board a bus that heads towards the Ruidoso Convention Center. Once you arrive, follow the walking directions provided from the Convention Center to Cedar Creek Trails. This may involve a short transfer on foot as public transport does not go directly to the trailhead.
