Car
From Sandia Peak Tramway, head southeast on Tramway Blvd NE toward I-40. Merge onto I-40 E and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 175A for NM-337 S toward Tijeras/Cedar Crest. Continue on NM-337 S for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Sandia Crest Scenic Hwy. Turn left onto Sandia Crest Scenic Hwy, and follow it for approximately 10 miles until you reach the 10k Trailhead parking area, which will be on your right. There is no cost for parking at the trailhead.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take the ABQ Ride Bus #2 from the Sandia Peak Tramway area to the Albuquerque Downtown area. From there, transfer to Bus #66 which heads toward Cedar Crest. Get off at the stop closest to Sandia Crest Scenic Hwy. After disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Sandia Crest Scenic Hwy to reach the 10k Trailhead. Please note that bus fares are around $1.00 per ride, and exact change is required.

Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can ride from Sandia Peak Tramway to the 10k Trailhead. Head southeast on Tramway Blvd NE, then merge onto I-40 E using the bike lane. Continue on NM-337 S, which has a bike lane. Be cautious as some parts of the road may have heavy traffic. The ride is approximately 12 miles and will take about an hour, depending on your speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. There are no additional costs other than bike maintenance.
