Car
From the Sandia Peak Tramway parking area, head southeast on NM-536 S. Continue on NM-536 S for about 3.5 miles. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto NM-165 S. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Trailhead Rd NE. The Embudito Trailhead will be on your right side. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.

From the Sandia Peak Tramway, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the intersection of Tramway Blvd and NM-536. Take the ABQ Ride bus number 2 (Tramway) towards the north. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the intersection of NM-165 and Trailhead Rd NE. From there, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to Embudito Trailhead, which is located on your left on Trailhead Rd NE. Please check the ABQ Ride website for current bus schedules and any applicable fares.
