Car
If you are driving from the Sandia Peak Tramway, start by heading southeast on Sandia Crest Road. Follow the road for about 5 miles. You will have to pay a parking fee of around $3 to $5 at the trailhead parking area. The North Crest Trailhead is located on the right side of the road, just before the Sandia Crest Scenic Byway ends at the summit. Look for signs indicating the trailhead.
