    If you are driving from Sandia Peak Tramway, head east on NM-536. Continue on NM-536 for approximately 7.5 miles until you reach Tecolote Trailhead, which is located on the left side of the road. There is a parking area available at the trailhead.

    To reach Tecolote Trailhead via public transportation, you can take the ABQ Ride bus service. From the Sandia Peak Tramway area, take the bus to the nearest transfer station, which is the 'Central Station' in Albuquerque. From there, transfer to the bus route that goes to Sandia Park. Once you arrive at Sandia Park, you can walk to Tecolote Trailhead, which is approximately 1 mile from the bus stop along NM-536.
