Experience Turquoise Trail

Getting There

  • Car

    From Sandia Peak Tramway, head southeast on NM-536 toward NM-165. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with NM-165. Turn left onto NM-165 and drive for approximately 10 miles. You will pass through scenic areas, and the route will lead you toward the Turquoise Trail. After about 10 miles, turn right onto NM-14 South. Continue on NM-14 for about 6 miles, and you'll see signs for the Turquoise Trail.

    From Sandia Peak Tramway, you will first need to take a taxi or rideshare service to get to the nearest public transport hub, which is the Albuquerque Bus Station. This will cost approximately $20. From the Bus Station, you can take the New Mexico Park and Ride bus service towards Santa Fe, which has stops at various points along the Turquoise Trail. Make sure to ask the driver or check the schedule to ensure you get off at the correct stop for the Turquoise Trail.
