If you are driving, start from the Santa Fe Plaza and head east on E Palace Ave toward Lincoln Ave. Continue straight to merge onto US-84/US-285 N. After about 2 miles, take the exit for NM-599 N toward Española. Continue on NM-599 N for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for NM-285 N toward Las Vegas. After about 15 miles, turn left onto FR 102, following the signs for the Chamisa Trailhead. Drive approximately 2 miles on FR 102 until you reach the trailhead parking area.
