Public Bus
Start at the Santa Fe Depot (the main bus station) located at 410 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Take the NM 22 Bus (Santa Fe Trails) heading towards the 'Sierra Vista' route. The bus typically runs every 30 minutes. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Sierra Vista' stop, which is close to Hyde Park Road. From there, walk north on Hyde Park Road for approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance of Hyde Memorial State Park at 740 Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Santa Fe. Start from the Plaza (the center of Santa Fe) and head north on Palace Ave. Continue onto Old Santa Fe Trail for about 3 miles. Then turn left onto Hyde Park Road. Follow Hyde Park Road for another 2 miles until you reach Hyde Memorial State Park at 740 Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501. The ride is scenic and will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start from the Plaza in Santa Fe. Walk north on Lincoln Ave, then continue straight onto Old Santa Fe Trail. This route is about 3 miles long and offers beautiful views of the mountains. After about an hour of walking, turn left onto Hyde Park Road and walk another mile until you arrive at Hyde Memorial State Park at 740 Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
