Walking
If you're starting from the Santa Fe Plaza, head southeast on Lincoln Avenue towards the intersection with West Palace Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Capitol Street. Turn left on South Capitol Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. The New Mexico State Capitol will be on your right at 411 S Capitol St. You will see its distinctive round shape, making it easy to identify.

From the Santa Fe Plaza, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike shops. Head southeast on Lincoln Avenue, then take a right onto West Palace Avenue. Continue straight until you reach South Capitol Street, then turn left. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. The New Mexico State Capitol will be on your right at 411 S Capitol St.

Public Transit (Bus)
Check the Santa Fe Trails bus schedule for the most current routes. From the Santa Fe Plaza, take the Blue Line bus towards the Southside. Get off at the South Capitol stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head north on South Capitol Street, and you will see the New Mexico State Capitol at 411 S Capitol St on your left.
