If you are starting from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, head southeast on Lincoln Avenue for about 0.4 miles. Continue straight onto S Washington Avenue. After a few blocks, turn right onto E De Vargas Street. Follow this street until it intersects with S Capitol Street, where you will turn left. The New Mexico State Capitol will be on your left at 411 S Capitol St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.

From the Santa Fe Plaza, you can catch the NM Rail Runner Express bus at the nearest stop. Board the bus heading towards the Santa Fe Depot. After about 5 minutes, disembark at the 'Capitol' bus stop. The New Mexico State Capitol is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on S Capitol Street, and you will arrive at 411 S Capitol St.
