Getting There

    From Shiprock, head south on US-491 S towards New Mexico State Highway 64. Continue for about 24 miles until you reach the intersection with NM-516 in Aztec. Turn left onto NM-516 E and follow the signs for Aztec Ruins National Monument. After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto Ruins Rd. The monument will be on your right at 725 Ruins Rd, Aztec, NM 87410. There is a small entrance fee of $10 per vehicle.

    Starting from Shiprock, take the Navajo Transit System bus service towards Farmington. Get off at the Aztec stop. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Aztec Ruins National Monument, which is about 5 miles away.
