Walking
Start at the Taos Plaza, the central hub of Taos. Head north on Paseo del Pueblo Norte (NM-68) for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Taos Ski Valley Road (NM-150). Continue walking on NM-68 for another 1.5 miles. Look for a bus stop or a bike rental shop if you prefer to use public transport or rent a bicycle. After you reach the intersection with NM-150, take a right and head up the hill for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance of the Carson National Forest. The Devisadero Loop Trail 108 Trailhead will be on your right, marked by signs.

From Taos Plaza, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head north on Paseo del Pueblo Norte (NM-68) for 0.5 miles. After reaching the intersection with Taos Ski Valley Road (NM-150), continue on NM-68 for about 1.5 miles. When you arrive at the turn for NM-150, take a right and bike up the hill for approximately 1 mile. Keep an eye out for the Carson National Forest entrance on your right, where you will find the Devisadero Loop Trail 108 Trailhead.
