Car
From White Sands National Park, start by exiting the park and heading northwest on US-70 W. Continue on US-70 W for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with US-54 N. Take the exit onto US-54 N towards Albuquerque. After about 25 miles, take the exit for NM-24 N towards Cloudcroft. Follow NM-24 N for about 15 miles. This road will take you directly into the Lincoln National Forest area. Look for signs indicating the forest entrance.
