Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main entrance of White Sands National Park, head northeast on Dunes Drive. Continue walking for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with U.S. Route 70. Turn left onto U.S. Route 70 and walk for another 2 miles. You will see a small information sign for the White Sands V-2 Launching Site on the right side of the road. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which will lead you to the site.

  • Bicycle

    Start at the White Sands Visitor Center and head east on Dunes Drive. After 1 mile, turn left onto the access road that connects to U.S. Route 70. Continue cycling on U.S. Route 70 for about 2 miles until you see the sign for the White Sands V-2 Launching Site. There is a designated parking area for bicycles near the entrance.
