Getting There

    If you are in the White Sands National Park area, start walking towards the main road, US-70. Look for signs indicating the direction to the White Sands Visitor Center (19955 US-70, Alamogordo, NM 88310). Walk along the path that leads to the entrance of the park. Once you reach US-70, turn left and continue walking. The Visitor Center will be on your right after approximately 0.5 miles.

    For those with a bicycle, head towards US-70 from the nearest bike-friendly path within White Sands. Once you reach US-70, turn left and ride along the shoulder of the road. The Visitor Center is located about 0.5 miles down US-70 on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow safety rules while biking on the road.
