Walk along the shoulder of the highway for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to White Sands National Park on your right. Follow the signs for the park entrance.

From the parking lot, follow the signs pointing towards the Interdune Boardwalk, which is a short walk of about 0.5 miles.
