    From Lake George, head south on NY-9L for approximately 9 miles. Turn left onto Pilot Knob Road (County Road 54) and continue for about 2 miles. The Buck Mountain Trailhead parking lot will be on your left at 1750 Pilot Knob Rd, Kattskill Bay, NY 12844. Look for signage indicating the trailhead.

    Take a public bus from Lake George to the nearest stop, which is at the intersection of NY-9L and Pilot Knob Road.
