Car
From Lake George, head south on NY-9L for approximately 9 miles. Turn left onto Pilot Knob Road (County Road 54) and continue for about 2 miles. The Buck Mountain Trailhead parking lot will be on your left at 1750 Pilot Knob Rd, Kattskill Bay, NY 12844. Look for signage indicating the trailhead.
Public Transportation
Take a public bus from Lake George to the nearest stop, which is at the intersection of NY-9L and Pilot Knob Road. Once you arrive, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles down Pilot Knob Road to reach the Buck Mountain Trailhead parking lot at 1750 Pilot Knob Rd, Kattskill Bay, NY 12844. Be prepared for a short walk along the road, as public transport may not drop you right at the trailhead.
Biking
If you're biking from Lake George, take NY-9L south for about 9 miles. After reaching Pilot Knob Road, turn left and bike for about 2 miles. The trailhead parking lot will be on your left. Ensure you have a bike lock for your bike while you hike.
