Turn left onto NY-9N and continue for approximately 11 miles until you reach North Hudson. Look for signs directing you to the Dix Mountain Wilderness area. You will find the parking area at the end of Dix Mountain Road, which is about 1 mile off NY-9N. There is no fee for parking.
