You will see signs for Mount Van Hoevenberg. Continue walking for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic Bobsled Run.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Lake Placid Public Library located at 2233 Main St. Ride north on Main Street until you reach Saranac Avenue. Turn right on Saranac Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Olympic Drive. Turn left onto Olympic Drive and pedal straight for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for the signs leading to Mount Van Hoevenberg, and you will find the Olympic Bobsled Run on your right.

  • Public Transport

    To get to Mount Van Hoevenberg using public transport, start at the Lake Placid Visitor Center.
