Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Queensbury, NY. From Route 87 (Northway), take Exit 18 for US-9 towards Lake George. Merge onto US-9 South and continue for approximately 1 mile. Steamin’ Demon will be located on your right at 1172 US-9. There is ample parking available at the Six Flags Great Escape amusement park where the ride is located. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $25 for a day.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus to the nearby town of Glens Falls. The Adirondack Trailways offers service to Glens Falls from various locations in the Adirondack region. Once you arrive at the Glens Falls bus station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Steamin’ Demon, which is about a 10-minute drive away (approximately 3 miles). Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around $10-$15 one way.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, consider biking to Steamin’ Demon. If you are already in the area, there are bike paths along parts of US-9. Make sure to follow local traffic laws and wear a helmet. The approximate distance from the center of Lake George to Steamin’ Demon is about 5 miles. Be prepared for some hilly terrain along the way.
